If you are looking for a different Outdoor Educational Experience for your students, Ben Lomond is the place to be!

There are a range of activities on offer, skiing, snowboarding, and exploring the mountain on snowshoes or just adrenalin pumping tobogganing.

Over night stays can be organized in many of the lodges on the mountain, all with different types of shared accomodation, and facilities. Day usage of the Rovers Ski Lodge can also include hot chocolate on arrival and use of their lodge facilities for the day. This is a really good option for younger students.

At Ben Lomond Snow Sports we can offer equipment hire and lesson packages with our friendly professional instructors.

The hire of equipment is for the whole day (9.00 - 4.00); ski or snowboard option includes skis, boots and poles, or snow- board and boots, with a 1-½ hour lesson. Clothing is also available for hire.

Eftpos facilities are available for the purchase of food and other accessories, and accounts can be sent to the school if that makes it easier on the day.

Transport can be arranged with us from the Rangers Station at any time of the day, bus transport from other destinations can also be organized.

There are 2 snow guns now in operation on the mountain servicing the lower slopes and they begin operation as soon as weather conditions permit. Increased summer grooming has also helped with snow coverage in winter months.

Before travelling to the mountain get in touch with Parks and Wildlife at Prospect on 6336 5312 to apply for a Parks Exemption so that the students don't have to pay the fee for entering the national park if they are on an organized school trip.

With the expansion of our snow making areas on Ben Lomond over the past 3 seasons we can now offer a snow experience with more reliability. We have a web camera operating from our building, which will give you a glimpse of the hourly conditions. We also update our Facebook page daily.

Transport from the bottom of Jacobs Ladder is now available as we have purchased a 10 seater Troop Carrier that is available 24/7.

The snow play and toboggan area are adjacent to the teaching area so most activities are located in the one spot.
